Lake Weissensee is located in Austria's southernmost region Carinthia. The lake is surrounded by the Gailtal Alps which are perfect for mountainbike holidays.
Officially, according to the local tourism board, there are 11 mountainbike routes. Especially for beginners there are also smaller and easier mountainbike routes. There the inclines are not that high and the difference in altitude per mountain biker is about 400 meters.
People who love to be active during their holidays love to come to Weissensee in Carinthia, there they can combine their mountain bike holidays with water sports. The region is therefore known to be the Nature Park in Austria.
A highlight for mountain bikers are the mountain pastures which surround the lake Weissensee.
